Yes, Technically You Can Swim in the Pond at Camelback Ranch
Posted by sfdodgerfan in Offseason Dodger NewsContinuing my list of the Top 7 Things learned at Camelback Ranch, here is Item #4.
So there’s a pond separating the Dodger’s side from the White Sox side. While my friends were there, someone jumped in and started swimming. Some fan even threw them a life saving ring just for fun. So yes, you can swim, but here’s two things.
1. The pond has a pretty, but unnatural blue-green tint. That’s because it uses reclaimed water. Yes, it’s been purified and cleaned, but if the the public doesn’t trust it for drinking, you probably shouldn’t swim in it.
2. If you swim in it, security will nicely wait for you to come to shore and then escort you out of the park…
I’m sure this guy won’t be the last in that pond….
