Well, if you haven’t noticed, the frequency of the posts on this site have declined a little. I’m still here, but there’s been a few behind the scenes changes.

First, when I first started the site, I thought it would be a fun blog site, a little side business and a place for local Dodger fans to call their own. Well…1 out of 3 isn’t bad, especially in baseball.

The blog has been there, but the business never took off and I’m still working on building a community here.

So, that’s why the double switch. I’m still blogging, but I find that people really come to this site when  the Dodgers play the Giants. This is good. The problem is that people don’t come as much the rest of the season. So, I’ve started writing for www.gearupforsports.com. It’s a bigger outfit, and there’s definitely more feedback on the posts. I’ll write general articles there, and more specific ones to the Dodgers and Giants here.  I’m going to do my best to put a post here as to when I write a post there, so that you can keep track of the articles.

As for the other two goals, that’s the second half of the double switch.  This year I’m going to focus more on T-shirts and gear specific to SF Dodger fans, as well as try to build a community of local fans.  I get a lot of requests for where local Dodger fans are meeting, so I’ll try to help organize those groups when the two teams play.  If you have ideas on SF Dodger fan gear, or want to be involved in helping organize local fans, please contact me using the contact form.
